Rocscience Slide 7.0 Rating: 4,3/5 9011 votes

Slide 6.0 is the most comprehensive slope stability analysis software available, complete with finite element groundwater seepage analysis, rapid drawdown, sensitivity and probabilistic analysis and support design. Slide 6.0 is the only slope stability software with built-in finite element groundwater seepage analysis for steady state or transient conditions. Flows, pressures and gradients are calculated based on user defined hydraulic boundary conditions.

Seepage analysis is fully integrated with the slope stability analysis or can be used as a standalone module. Slide 6.0 has extensive probabilistic analysis capabilities - you may assign statistical distributions to almost any input parameters, including material properties, support properties, loads, and water table location.

The probability of failure/reliability index is calculated, and provides an objective measure of the risk of failure associated with a slope design. Sensitivity analysis allows you to determine the effect of individual variables on the safety factor of the slope. Slide offers no less than 17 different material strength models for rock and soil including Mohr-Coulomb, Anisotropic and Generalized Hoek-Brown. Support types include tieback, end anchored, soil nail, micro pile and geotextile.

Back analysis allows you to determine the required support force for a given safety factor. Advanced search algorithms simplify the task of finding the critical slip surface with the lowest safety factor. Slide 6.0 is very user friendly slope stability software.

It has many capabilities and all the usual limit equilibrium methods. You can evaluate reinforced slopes and also perform seepage analysis via FEM. In my opinion this software is among the best available for 2D slope stability calculations.

You can evaluate easily numerous situations, easily modify your geotechnical profile and slope geometry. What I have found extremely useful is that you can enter geometry, layers, water tables etc from AutoCAD via.DXF files. It can make your job of slope stability analysis very easy.

Finite Element Analysis for Excavations and Slopes Phase2 7.0 is a powerful 2D elasto-plastic finite element stress analysis program for underground or surface excavations in rock or soil. It can be used for a wide range of engineering projects and includes support design, finite element slope stability and groundwater seepage analysis. Phase2 7.0 provides material models for rock and soil including Mohr- Coulomb, Generalized Hoek-Brown and Cam-Clay.

Complex multi-stage excavations can be easily created and edited using state-of-the-art CAD tools. Groundwater pore pressure can be determined using steady state finite element seepage analysis – flows, pressures and gradients are calculated based on user defined hydraulic boundary conditions. Support Design Phase2 7.0 offers a wide range of support modeling options. Bolt types include end anchored, fully bonded, cable bolts, split sets and grouted tiebacks.

Aug 31, 2018 - Actor Shweta Tiwari, who essayed the character of Prerna in original version of popular TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, says her daughter — who is now a teenager — was approached for the reboot. Liner elements can be applied in the modeling of shotcrete, concrete, steel set systems, retaining walls, piles, multi-layer composite liners, geotextiles and more. New liner design tools include support capacity plots which allow you to determine the safety factor of reinforced liners. FE Slope Stability One of the major features of Phase2 is finite element slope stability analysis using the shear strength reduction method. This option is fully automated and can be used with either Mohr- Coulomb or Hoek-Brown strength parameters.

The analysis parameters can be customized if required. Slope models can be imported from Slide and computed in Phase2 allowing easy comparison of limit equilibrium and finite element results. Software tools for rock and soil © 2009 Rocscience Inc.
